Jalen Hudson joins Pallacanestro Trieste
Pallacanestro Trieste announces that it has acquired Jalen Hudson, a guard-winger native of Akron, Ohio, class of 1996.

Hudson, a 198cm by 88kg wing-guard, previously played for the Fighting Irish at St. Vincent-St. Mary's high school and then continued his career at Virginia Tech and then with the University of Florida Gators.
After a stint in the G-League and the Israeli second tier, he signed with Telekom Baskets Bonn of the Basketball Bundesliga (BBL) in 2021. The following season he wore the jersey of Larisa B.C. in the Greek Basket League. In 32 league games, he averaged more than 13 points, 5.2 rebounds and 1.3 assists, playing 28 minutes per game.
On September 4, 2022, he signed with newly promoted Hapoel Galil Elyon in the Israeli Premier League, a team with which also plays in the FIBA Europe Cup, averaging over 19 points in the league and 17 in the continental competition.
Since January, Jalen has been playing as a PBA Governor's Cup rookie for the TNT Tropang Giga in the Philippines, where he averaged over 33 points, before embarking on the red-and-white adventure that will bring him to Trieste in the coming days, once the necessary formalities are completed.

We are very pleased to complete the roster with an element with his physical and technical characteristics: his physical size allows him to play in multiple roles, he is adept at finalizing, both ball in hand and without the ball thanks to his dynamism. We had had contacts a few years ago after his experience in the G-League and we are happy to find him again today, improved and matured. Important factors in his choice were definitely his experiences in European leagues, which will go a long way in reducing the adaptation time in our system, as well as the excellent feedback we received about the boy in our information gathering and the personal talks we had with him in these weeks."

Hudson, guardia-ala di 198cm per 88kg, si è formato cestisticamente nei Fighting Irish della high school St. Vincent-St. Mary per poi proseguire il suo percorso prima a Virginia Tech, poi con i Gators dell'Università della Florida.
