Pallacanestro Trieste chooses NIKE as technical partner for the 23-24 season

Pallacanestro Trieste has chosen Nike as the official apparel brand for its first team and youth sector. The agreement, closed between Pallacanestro Trieste and Nike's distributor GTZ DISTRIBUTION, consists of supplying apparel for all the teams of the organization - from the Serie A2 team to mini-basket - and includes the role of “technical partner” for the 2023-2024 season

This collaboration comes on the heels of Pallacanestro Trieste's commitment to enhancing its marketing efforts and builds upon its successful partnership with the renowned graphic studio, Bureau Borsche. The studio has sparked a revolution in the concept, design, and quality of on-court accessories tailored to the players, while also revamping the merchandise available to enthusiastic fans.

"We are to announce the signing of this agreement, - stated Prabhdeep Singh Sekhon, Managing Director of CSGI, the company behind Pallacanestro Trieste" - This is a project we have been working on for several months, driven by the desire to expand internationally and collaborate with a beloved and deeply-rooted basketball brand like Nike to develop our merchandise and clothing designs. This venture goes beyond just technical apparel; it has been conceived with the vision of creating a true collection, with the heart of it centered around the distinctive elements that will define our game jerseys. Design is a crucial aspect in Pallacanestro Trieste's revival project; the organization has identified uniqueness, attention to detail, and a focus on precision as key factors in promoting and globalizing our brand to introduce Pallacanestro Trieste to the world."

"We are proud," stated Riccardo Trolese, CEO of GTZ DISTRIBUTION "to support Pallacanestro Trieste in this new challenge and actively contribute to the creation of a product line that embodies all the distinctive traits of this organization. We are grateful to Pallacanestro Trieste for giving us the opportunity to work with such an important design studio as Bureau Borsche; this experience will enable us to grow professionally and create a collection that will reward all the fans who wish to join us in this exciting new project."

The project begins with the official gameday uniforms, and the design task has been entrusted to Bureau Borsche, the Munich-based design house that has previously created the jerseys for Venezia Calcio and the logo for FC Internazionale Milano. The game jerseys take center stage in the restyling project and influence the entire merchandise selection, featuring numerous modernized innovations, from the dynamic logo adapted to various color schemes incorporated onto the jersey to several appealing features that fans will love.

“We are incredibly excited about the partnership between Pallacanestro Trieste and Nike – commented the design house of Bureau Borsche - Our joint mission is to craft something truly special that embodies the very essence of this remarkable city. Our focus is to capture the heart and soul of the club and city, celebrating its people, the city's vibrant spirit, rich history, and unique geography. Together, we aim to create something unique, reflecting the essence of Pallacanestro Trieste. Our collaboration is rooted in the belief that the people are the heartbeat of this community, and we want to celebrate their passion and dedication. Together, we embark on a creative journey to design jerseys that go beyond the court, representing the pride and unity of every Triestino. As we worked hand in hand, the road ahead may bring challenges, but we are inspired by the collective vision to create something special”.

The on-court collection includes numerous technical and leisure garments, which are added elements that will later be featured in kits for youth teams and in the catalog dedicated to the fans.
